THE POWER of MEDITATION

Journeying back to SELF… 

When it comes to meditation, I personally started meditating in 2019 (I think – memory recall). Why? I had read an article at that time that spoke about the benefits of meditation, the article touched me in what seemed like a profound way, and I was SOLD! That was also around the time I stumbled upon the book – “The Secret.” That first year, I can accurately and confidently say that I stuck with meditating every morning for about 20-30 minutes per day for the entire year. My mindset started to change, and one after the other, I started noticing synchronicities after synchronicities – the UNIVERSE seeming to point me where I needed to be, the books I needed to read, the audiobook and podcast I needed to listen to showed up at what seemed like the “PERFECT” time.

Meditation in a NUTSHELL

What is Meditation?

Different people would define meditation in different ways and rightfully so, as the experience differs for each person. For me, Meditation is the act of finding solitude from the noise in the world, the ability to sit with yourself and your thoughts, while making space for the voice within to guide you through your life’s endeavors – whatever that may be.

How do you start: Meditation is one of the easiest, most affordable form of self-care, self-healing practices you can do. Unlike most practices, you are not required to be in a specific place at a specific time, nor are you required to invest any money to get started. All you need to get started is a quiet space, a cushion for comfort (for us individuals who prefer to sit on the floor – also referred to as the Lotus position), comfortable clothing – nothing too tight or restrictive, soothing background music (this is optional). 

When I started meditating, I would only practice at home, now, I enjoy meditating sitting by the water, while walking in the forest when the weather is nice enough as I find taking my practice outside in nature amplifies my energy, increases my sense of ONENESS, and the best – is elevating my VIBRATION. For those who knows a thing or two about vibration, we know that vibration is everything, and the higher your vibration, the easier it becomes to MANIFEST thoughts into physical reality.

The Process: There isn’t much of a process to the practice of meditation. That said, to fully realize the benefits of meditation in your life, you have to commit to the process of setting aside the time to actually do it on a consistent basis. Choose the most comfortable space for yourself and simply just BREATH – in and out through the course of your practice. Too easy? I know. That’s all you need to do. No fancy equipment, no fancy gym outfits, no sweating, just breath. As your mind wanders, do not fight it, allow whatever thoughts that arise come but release them as they arise. 

The Benefits: By consistently incorporating the practice of meditation into your daily routine, you will start to notice subtle shifts within your body, your way of thinking, your mindset, the way you see and relate to the world around you. You may also notice a deep sense of appreciation for life and for your journey in general. The best part – for my fellow manifestors, meditation is an easier path towards manifesting anything you want, as it softens your resistance that is preventing you from getting what you truly DESIRE.

On my personal transformation journey, meditation has truly changed me, changed my life, as well as my way of thinking. It has made my evolutionary journey truly interesting in way I could never have imagined and for that, I am grateful.
